Brett Duggan

Brett is a co-founder and director of Arad Research. He has led research projects on behalf of government departments, public sector organisations and local authorities over a period of 20 years. He has managed large-scale evaluations and strategic reviews in a range of policy areas, including education and skills, the arts, the Welsh language, community regeneration and children and young people.

He is currently leading Arad’s team on a four-year formative evaluation of the Curriculum for Wales on behalf of Welsh Government, working in partnership with higher education institutions. Prior to his time at Arad, he worked for research consultancy Newidiem and as a policy researcher at the National Assembly. Brett is a fluent Welsh-speaker and also speaks French and Italian. In his spare time, he enjoys camping trips with his family, playing pool for his local pub team and is a longstanding supporter of Pontypridd RFC.
