The aim of the Employability Skills Programme is to support unemployed adults to get a job and to stay in work by improving their employability skills. The core of the programme is a quality work placement or employer-specific training which is combined with work preparation training and essential skills if needed. It is funded by the Welsh Government and delivered by training providers across Wales.

Arad has been commissioned to undertake a mid-programme review. We will be collecting the views of a sample of unemployed adults through a telephone survey and will interview JCP work coaches, employers and training providers.
