Kara Stedman
Researcher

Kara is a Researcher who joined Arad in 2021 from a background in social research. Her areas of research interest include education, childcare, arts and culture, and employment and skills. Kara has a BSc in Sociology and an MSc in Social Science and is skilled in designing surveys, conducting interviews and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.

Kara’s research project experience includes a review of Childminding in Wales; an evaluation of the National Music Service Plan in Wales; scoping research into the Welsh Government’s ‘Baby Bundle’ scheme; an evaluation of the Future Generations Leadership Academy and an evaluation of the BFI’s Future Film Skills programme.

Outside of Arad, Kara spends much of her spare time socialising with friends and family, going to exercise classes, cooking and jetting off on holidays.
