Alison joined Arad in August 2014. Her research and evaluation interests include sustainable development, education and skills.
She has volunteered and worked across all education sectors, with recent experience as a researcher and lecturer at the University of South Wales. Alison has a master’s degree in environmental education and a Doctorate in Education. She has presented at international business and education conferences, and published in peer reviewed journals. She has facilitated many workshops and focus groups to support the collection and dissemination of research data. Alison has evaluated apprenticeships for Creative Skillset and SkillsActive, and evaluated the STEM Cymru 2 Programme for Engineering Education Scheme Wales.
Other recent project experience includes Teach First’s Careers and Employability Initiative, the evaluation of the Pioneer School Model, the Early Implementation of the Childcare Offer for Wales and research to establish the baseline position of the additional learning needs system in Wales. At the weekend and during her days off Alison enjoys walking in the Brecon Beacons or can be found singing in a community choir.← Back
