Sioned is a founding director of Arad Research.
Sioned is a Director and co-founder of Arad Research and has led a range of research and evaluation projects over the past fifteen years. Sioned currently leads on Arad projects relating to parents and early years. She is managing the evaluation of the Early Implementation of the Childcare Offer for Wales, which includes interviews and an e-survey of parents and is project manager on the evaluation of the ESF-funded ‘Progress for Success’ training for childcare workers. Previously she contributed to the three-year qualitative research with Flying Start families.
She has also designed and facilitated focus groups and depth interviews in English and Welsh on a range of topics; managed the evaluation of advice services in Citizen’s Advice Bureaux, in particular those delivered in health settings (Better Advice Better Lives project) and led an evaluation of Oxfam’s Building Livelihoods and Strengthening Communities in Wales project.
Previously, Sioned was a researcher at an independent consultancy and a researcher at the Welsh Government. A geography graduate, she also has a master’s degree in regional development with research methods.← Back
