Tanwen is a Researcher at Arad Research, with previous experience working within the third, public and education sectors in the UK and abroad.
Tanwen has worked in research and evaluation across a wide range of policy areas and for clients across the public, third/voluntary and private sectors. Her particular research interests include education and skills, culture and heritage, children and families, communities and Welsh language. She is experienced in undertaking consultations, case studies, data analysis, literature reviews and in designing evaluation frameworks and research tools. A University of Cambridge History graduate, Tanwen also has an MA in International Politics and Europe (University of Warwick). She is also a fluent Welsh speaker and is a Trustee of the Community Foundation in Wales.
Tanwen’s experience includes evaluating the Pioneer Schools Model, which is developing a new curriculum for Wales, and evaluating the pilot of the Childcare Offer in Wales, both for Welsh Government. She has also worked on an evaluation of Teach First’s Careers and Employability Initiative across England and on an evaluation of the National Centre for Learning Welsh’s programme to develop language skills in the workforce. She joined Arad from the Wales Audit Office, where she supported performance audit and focused on good practice research and guidance.← Back
