HWPEG is made up of organisations and institutions from the heritage, museums and libraries sectors in Wales. The aim of the research was to review current literature and research held by these partners into different aspects of public engagement with the history of Wales. Arad conducted secondary research and analysis relating to a wide range of documentation including strategic policy documents, visitor satisfaction surveys, evaluations of specific events, and impact studies. The final report provided an assessment of current public engagement with the history of Wales and proposed recommendations for HWPEG members to enhance their engagement strategies.
